We consolidated the three houses onto a single Mews instance in the cloud, automated the accounting interface to DATEV and fully replaced the Wi-Fi infrastructure in the unstable house.
The monthly close is now one day faster. The Wi-Fi complaints have disappeared from guest reviews. Three separate server locations were reduced to one, and so were the electricity bills.
We work with property management systems such as Protel or Mews and know the interfaces to booking platforms, door-lock systems, and point-of-sale. The guest Wi-Fi is kept strictly separate from the internal network so that hotel operations and guest comfort do not get in each other's way.
We plan the access points so that there are no dead spots, and monitor the most important links remotely. If something goes wrong at night, we see it in monitoring and can often step in straight away from outside.
A confidentiality agreement is part of the deal from the start with us. Access to customer systems runs exclusively through personal accounts with multi-factor authentication, and all activity is logged. Backups run encrypted to data centres in Germany or Switzerland, not to US providers.
Yes. We have experience with event IT, meaning temporary networks, ticket scanners, and backstage communication. Permanent installations in casinos, conference centres, or venues in Baden-Baden, Bühl, Sinzheim, and Gernsbach are also part of the everyday work.
